My name is Mackenzie Williams, MS, CCC-SLP. I graduated from Western Michigan University where I studied speech-language pathology and Spanish while playing for the Women’s Soccer Team. I graduated from Northwestern University with my masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2019. I have experience as an SLP in inpatient rehabilitation centers, public schools, private practice, and clinics. My specialties and clinical focuses include early intervention, late talkers, AAC, ASD, and childhood apraxia of speech.
I am passionate about treating the whole child and supporting parents in developing their child’s speech and language skills. I believe that in order to make progress, a child must feel connected, valued, and empowered to be exactly who they were created to be. My goal is to always build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
My family is my “why”. My husband Matt and I have two beautiful daughters, Nellie and Emerson, and a chocolate lab, Mowgli. I enjoy being outdoors, reading a good fiction novel, and going for a walk or run. If I’m watching a movie, it’s almost guaranteed to be Harry Potter.
